Recently I have faced a lot of setbacks in my life.My happily going life has suddenly come to a thundering end .Its very gloomy out here and for a change I don't blame it on American winter .All I have seen in the past few months is sadness around. I look at things that i used to do ...with my friends and feel that now I can never do that again .Those very things in my office that I used to look up to happily now seem uninviting. I have been feeling completely de- energized . With nothing to look up to in life, scared and lonely ,vulnerable and easily susceptible ,I just could not get myself up to writing my blog again .It's not that something bad actually happened to me .The culprit was my response to the situation.I have always been a emotional
and sensitive person and if something affects the people I love or care about ,I directly feel the pain. And with the job situation ,a lot of my friends have been in unfavorable situation leading to my discomfort(that does not mean that I am completely safe or immune ) .
However ,I feel now this has to come to an end.
My good times started when they were not expected to start .They ended when they were not expected to end .
I need to control only what I can control .No one gains by keeping oneself unhappy .
I want to sing and dance again, in the morning sunrise and evening sunset, in the twinkling of the stars and the dancing wind.
Out of these thoughts comes the theme of my recent poem.
Go around with a smile
Like a beacon of light you should shine
I will get what I deserve
what I don't ,I consider was never mine
Nothing good or bad remains for ever
its the memories that linger on
Friends,People, Opportunities come and go in your life
However lonely you feel ,remember that the show must go on
When there is doom and darkness all around,
remember all you need is a ray of hope
Tide will eventually turn in your favor
Just keep holding on to the rope !
You can cry and hate the world and ask
why all these problems are mine ,
You can shut all doors of good thought and keep
yourself confined
But one should remember my friend
that even a stopped clock shows the right time !
Last but not the least my friends
Believe in the "The ONE"
with his blessings all problems can be overcome
So just go ahead and pray your heart out ...
and see how all your problems sort out !

@Deni :I do know that the clock shows right time twice in a day ...either I was referring to a 24 hour clock there or I was not able to put "twice" in that line of the poem and still keep the flow ..I am not able to recall the reason ..hehehehe :):P :P

hey somil... going thru ur blog after long time.. I knw the suitation is not gud everywhere but how u describe thru is poem,truly speechless..Yes this is the feeling of true frnds..Times when he/she is worried for u, in ur bad times... happy when u r happy.... But yes suitation will never remain same.. If this hard time then good time had yet come... So keep counting ... nice blog ... :-) cheers
